This a list of some of our common FAQs. If there is anything not listed here that you would like to know, please email us at hello@distinctdrinks.com.au

We want you to let your creative juices fly. We do request that you use appropriate language and messages on our products. We reserve the right to remove or edit any text that is deemed inappropriate, malicious or explicit. Explicit words may have some letters replaced with *****. 

We deliver anywhere in the Australia Post network. Due to liquor licensing laws we are unable to deliver to some areas. For more information visit our shipping information page.

Please email us at hello@distinctdrinks.com.au and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible. It can take up to 24-48 hours for us to get back to you (Mon-Fri).

Please notify us of any mistakes as soon as possible by emailing us at hello@distinctdrinks.com.au and we will do our best to help. If an order has already been dispatched changes cannot be made. 

Our orders are delivered by Australia Post. At present it is not possible to select a time for delivery.

Your order tracking number will be emailed to you once your order has dispatched.

The more information you can provide about the delivery location the better.

Business Address: Please provide the name of the business and whether it should be delivered to reception, a loading dock or building concierge.

Residential Address: Please ensure that our drivers will be able to gain access to the property and that a person over the age of 18 will be home on the day of delivery. Our drivers will not leave deliveries unattended and they will be sent to the local post office for collection (ID required for collection).

If you provide us with an incorrect address or an incorrect name, we do not accept responsibility for the failed delivery. If the product is returned by our delivery partner we can arrange re-delivery (a re-delivery and administration fee will apply). 

Generally orders that are placed by midnight AEST will be dispatched the following 24-48 hours. 

During peak periods we recommend placing your order earlier to ensure timely delivery.

We highly recommend delivering to a business address or a residential address where you know that someone will be there to accept the delivery.

If nobody over the age of 18 is home, the order will be taken to the nearest post office for collection (photo ID required for collection).

Changes

As we pride ourselves on fast dispatch and delivery, changes are not always possible. Changes may be possible if you contact us prior to 5pm AEST on the same day the order was placed. Please send an email to hello@distinctdrinks.com.au with the subject “Urgent Change” with your order number and details of your request.

Order Cancellations

We are unable to offer cancellations once an order has been placed.

We plant one tree for every spirit sold with our partners One Tree Planted. One Tree Planted is a non profit organisation that plants trees around the world.

Each quarter we purchase trees to be planted in Australia. The number of trees purchased is equal to the number of spirits sold in the last quarter.

We accept all major credit cards as well as Paypal and AfterPay.

We do not deliver on weekends or public holidays at this time. We are working on weekend delivery to be able to offer it in the near future.

We cannot deliver internationally due to import restrictions on alcohol.

Afterpay allows you to purchase from Distinct Drinks online store and pay later in 4 easy interest-free instalments.
